Alex and Desirée, named as Bachata Ambassadors by the Puerto Plata City Hall in Dominican Republic have been traveling the globe to spread their understanding of Traditional Bachata.

Since 2015 They have trained, coached, choreographed for, and collaborated with some of the top dancers in the scene.
As Masters in Traditional Bachata, and also being respected salsa dancers & instructors, they became part of the judging panel for some of the most prestigious world dance championships including as The World Salsa Summit (USA), Bachatea World Masters (Spain), Euroson Latino (Mexico) and much more.

Alex Morel, born in Santo Domingo and raised in Paterson, NJ, is celebrated for his charisma and unique dance style. He has always identified with music of all genres. Starting with salsa in 2005, he now excels in traditional yet stylish Bachata, gaining global recognition.

Desiree Godsell, from Houston, graduated from the High School of Performing and Visual Arts and has a B.F.A. in Dance Performance from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She has toured worldwide with Santigold and started her salsa career with the Legend Eddie Torres. She has appeared in LaMambopera off-Broadway and on TV shows like MTV MADE and Jimmy Fallon, etc.
